First of all we at jammer-store should say a couple of words on how that WiSee project works. The main idea here is really simple and based on radio-location. When you move, you can reflect radio waves and if there is some device that is able to see those waves – it will be able to see you, reflecting them. That is the main idea of WiSee, it uses Wi-Fi signals to recognize gestures and actually “see” people through the walls and other obstacles.
The system may be used for surveillance and wireless security measures, but may be also dangerous. It may be used by evildoers for spying and many other things. WiSee is dangerous also because of the fact that Wi-Fi networks are vulnerable and if used in security system – it may compromise the whole wireless network. So it would be much better to avoid it.
Now, as you can see WiSee uses the same 2.4 GHz frequency signals as Wi-Fi does, so any kind of Wi-Fi jamming device will be able to block that. In that case WiSee will “see” a 15 meters (50 feet) splash and won’t be able to see a human or understand a gesture. You should also keep in mind that as long as WiSee will use reflected 2.4 GHz signals – it could work with any Wi-Fi signal source, even home wireless router will do. So make sure that your signal jamming device is turned on!
Thanks for your question, I hope, I’ve managed to help!
