Recently ordered a new router from Frontier and all was working great. I myself and most of my family used the 5G because it claimed to support more devices than the 2.4G, also it is faster. After an hour it turned itself off. I had to go into router settings (192.168.x.x) and either 1.) Rename the 5G connection or 2.) Disable and re-enable it. That would fix it every time without flaw, but after about 10 minutes it would disconnect itself again. Called frontier support and they are basically worthless. Changing the channel of the 5G connection seemed to help it last a bit longer but still ended up dying in the end. 2.4G is flawless and has not once disconnected itself.
